Activities and Untutored  groups

We have activity and interest groups that meet on a weekly,  two weekly,  and monthly basis.  Check out the groups below. These are available to members only. To become a KACC member join us here.

MONDAY:       Portrait Club 7.30-9.30 pm (additional charge for model $6 KACC members and $8 non-members)

WEDNESDAY:  Craft & Quilters (Knitters, Stitchers etc) 9.30 am-12.30 pm then 1.00 pm-4.00 pm

THURSDAY:    Painting - all mediums and styles 9.00 am to 12.00 pm and 1.00 to 3.30 pm

FRIDAY:         Mah Jong 1.00 to 4.00 pm

SATURDAY:     Weekend Painters 2-4.3Opm


MONDAY:       Calligraphy and Special Projects (every second Monday from 23rd Feb) 9.30 am to 12.30 pm

MONDAY:       Cardmaking/Scrapbook 1.00 to 4.00 pm (1st and 3rd Monday each month)             

WEDNESDAY:  Crafty Stitchers 1.00-4.00 pm once a fortnight, call Margaret on 476-6817 for more information.

WEDNESDAY:  Camera Club 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm (2nd and 4th Wednesday each month). Mix of presentations, review of images from members, and inter-club competitions and exhibitions. All levels of photo skills welcome. Additional $5pa payable to photo club organiser.


SECOND TUESDAYS:    Walking group - various locations 2-4 hours with lunch to follow. The walks cover a range of difficulty.  Register with our office by email or on 476-6817 to be added to their contact list. All KACC members and their partners welcome.  Shared transport options from Karori.

FIRST FRIDAY:   Antique Group - at the Newman Centre. First Friday each month

THIRD FRIDAY:  Gardening Group - at the Newman Centre, KACC hosts a speaker followed by morning tea. 

LAST FRIDAY:    Booklovers Group - at the Newman Centre, members meet to discuss the books that they have read in the past month over morning tea.  

SECOND SATURDAYS:  10am to 4pm Material Girls a group of young women who meet to quilt, stitch and sew. 

SATURDAY:    Printmaking group meets in the Wet Room.
